It helps repair muscles after a long workout, and even helps your body make more white blood cells to help fight off infection or different kinds of bacteria. Sleeping helps in relaxing the heart to where it does not have to work as hard as it would during the day. So lets say you have a big day in making all kinds of decisions like what time you want to workout or which shoes to wear to the gym? If you get enough sleep you will be able to make a good clear decision ๐Ÿ™‚ In closing, overall better sleep does have a lot of benefits some of them listed above, or even some not listed like better moods or even making you smarter.
